On Sunday at 3pm the match between Bologna and Udinese, valid for the 34th round of the championship, will be directed by Juan Luca Sacchi of the Macerata section. Sacchi has already managed Bologna this season: it was February 3rd and Sassuolo had come to the Dall’Ara, defeated 4 to 2.
Sacchi’s history with Bologna
Going beyond this championship, Sacchi has refereed Bologna 7 times, the first of which in the Italian Cup, on 4 December 2018, was won 3-0 by the rossoblù against Crotone.
But Sacchi is remembered, above all for the match on 16 April 2022, against Juventus, where Bologna dominated against the Bianconeri.
In the first half the referee gave three yellows, but in the second half, scoring the 1-0 with Arnautovic.
Bologna was preparing to win a match at the Allianz Stadium after 11 years.
Then Sacchi began a one-man show from the 84th: expulsion, unfair for Adama Soumaoro and, on the protests of Medeldrew the second red card towards the Chilean.

Curiosities for Inter-Turin: the direction of the match will be entrusted to one all-female refereeing trio, for the first time in the history of the Italian championship. She has been designated to referee this match Maria Sole Ferrieri Caputi of Livorno, supported by assistants Francesca Di Monte (of the Chieti section) e Tiziana Trasciatti (of the Foligno section). Until now it had only happened in Serie B and the Italian Cup, but never in Serie A.
