Monza: profit of 10.7 million in 2023 for Acinque spa, Cetti confirmed as CEO

Budget approved and appointment of the new board of directors who has taken office in the meantime. It was held on Tuesday 23 April at the Monza headquarters Five shareholders’ meeting. The financial statements of Acinque SpA for the financial year ended December 31st were unanimously approved by the seven shareholders, including the mayor Paolo Pilotto for the municipality of Monza.

The consolidated financial statements 2023 show a Gross Operating Margin of 92 million euros, an increase compared to the previous year. The Net Operating Margin decreased compared to 2022 and stood at 28 million euros (37.3 million euros in 2022). The group result for 2023, net of the minority shareholders’ share of profit, is positive and equal to 10.7 million eurossignificantly down compared to 2022 (30.8 million euros).

One result: “which is affected by the increase in financial charges (average financial debt and significant increase in interest rates) and the tax burden” says the Society. In 2023 the Group continued with the investment plan: “aimed at ensuring long-term value and continuity” for all the territories in which it operates “also through the use of innovative solutions and the digitalisation of processes”.

Investments in 2023, before disposals, amounted to 65.3 million euros (69.4 million euros in 2022). At 31 December 2023, net financial debt amounted to 257.9 million euros, an increase compared to 31 December 2022 (241.5 million euros). As regards in particular the Parent Company Acinque SpA, the positive net result amounted to 18.6 million euros in 2023 (against 18.1 million in 2022). At the end of 2023 the parent company’s net financial debt was 58.6 million euros (61.1 million euros in 2022).

The the new president, appointed by the shareholders’ meeting, is Matteo Barbera who will be assisted by the deputies Marco Canzi (outgoing president) and Annamaria Di Ruscio, the latter expressed by the Municipality of Monza. Di Ruscio was previously vice president and independent director on the board of directors of Acsm-Agam spa. “He is a very focused and very determined person-stated Mayor Pilotto on the sidelines of the meeting– we are convinced that it will do its job very well. Acinque is a well-managed and dynamic company despite the difficulties it faces. I hope that after these challenging years he can express his qualities even better. We strongly believe in the values ​​and participation of this company.”

The new board of directors of Acinque SpA, appointed by the Shareholders’ Meeting of 23 April and composed of 13 members, at the end of the settlement procedures he reappointed Stefano Cetti as CEO.
