A 17-year-old local girl who suddenly fell while in a group and has already undergone a very delicate surgery during the night to remove a large hematoma on her head is still hospitalized in very serious conditions at the Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome. The conditions are serious, although her life is not in danger. The prognosis, however, remains reserved: she is in fact under pharmacological sedation and mechanical ventilation after the coma induced by hospital doctors in the intensive care unit.

THE RECONSTRUCTION
His family runs a horticultural business. The reconstruction of the accident is being examined by the Carabinieri of the Civitavecchia company who intervened shortly after 1 am on the Thaon seafront in Ravel. According to what was reconstructed by the investigators, the young woman would have spent the evening with friends having dinner and drinking in one of the many clubs in the street.
Hours of carefreeness, the festive atmosphere, a few too many drinks and the imprudent decision, perhaps out of a prank, to climb that curb despite apparently not having sneakers and being, in fact, under the influence of alcohol. Her already precarious balance would not have given her the opportunity to remain standing on the wall and the 17-year-old fell on her back. The impact was extremely violent on the ground below, a mix of earth, stones and sand not far from a concrete platform.
Not only were his friends invited to the party in shock but also all the people present who, like every Saturday evening, found themselves in Pirgo, always crowded, in disbelief. The 118 ambulance arrived to pick up the girl and take her to the San Paolo hospital in Civitavecchia. From there the transfer to Gemelli with the Pegaso air ambulance.
Obviously the news quickly spread throughout the Civitavecchia community. And yesterday morning the carabinieri, in collaboration with municipal police officers, returned to the seafront to reconstruct what precisely happened in the minutes preceding the tragedy. An official from the Local Health Authority of Rm 4, an expert in construction site safety, was also present at the inspection: the wall from which the young woman fell is in fact part of the pertinent area of a room temporarily closed for renovation works, as demonstrated by the wooden planks resting at the foot of the concrete and some signs on the door.

Meanwhile, yesterday the president of the Thaon de Revel neighborhood committee, Luana Dolgetta, intervened in the incident with a letter. «First of all, I would like to express my most sincere closeness to the young girl and her family in this difficult moment. We all hope that her strength and the competence of the doctors at the Gemelli Polyclinic will allow her to make a speedy and complete recovery. For years, our committee has been reporting to the authorities the danger generated by the so-called bad nightlife in the neighborhood, especially along our seafront, a place that should be a symbol of serenity and not danger. Every weekend, residents witness reckless and dangerous behavior that puts everyone’s safety at risk, especially that of the youngest.”
The carabinieri in via Antonio da Sangallo today should acquire footage from public and private video surveillance systems to dispel any doubts. Naturally, all the birthday girl’s friends, restaurateurs and waiters from the various restaurants and pubs will listen.
