Tomorrow, in the Quistelli Hall of the Mediterranean University of Reggio, from 9am, the Forum Il Ponte del Mediterraneo will be held, organized by Rotary, with the presence of the President of the Stretto di Messina Society Giuseppe Recchi, Pietro Ciucci CEO of the Stretto Society of Messina and the board member Giacomo Saccomanno.
Participating in the forum will be, among others, Giuseppe Zimbalatti, rector of the Mediterranean, Giuseppe Falcomatà, mayor of Reggio Calabria, Giusy Caminiti, mayor of Villa San Giovanni, Federico Basile, mayor of Messina, Renato Schifani, president of the Sicilian Region, Roberto Occhiuto, Governor of Calabria, Ilario Tassone President of the Order of Architects of Reggio and Francesco Foti President of the Order of Engineers of Reggio.
This meeting represents a significant opportunity to discuss and promote crucial projects for the future of Calabria and the entire Mediterranean, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and legality in carrying out infrastructure development initiatives.
The proceedings will be opened by the Governor of Rotary District 2102, Francesco Petrolo, and Goffredo Vaccaro of District 2110. After the welcome by Maria Giovanna Irene Fusca, Prefect of Rotary District 2102, institutional greetings from the Rotary presidents Vincenzo Nociti (RC), Domenico Chindemi (RC Nord), Enrico Paratore (RC Parallelo 38), and Cosimo Sframeli (RC East).
The first session, scheduled for 10am, on the Definitive Strait Bridge Project, moderated by Alberto Porcelli and Giovanni Mollica will see speeches by President Recchi, prof. Ciucci and the engineer. Achille Devitofranceschi, responsible for the macrostructure of the bridge project.
The second session, scheduled for 10.40 am, will focus on Network and Port Development Programmes, and will be moderated by Giovanni Leonardi, director of the Engineering Department, with interventions by Dario Lobosco, RFI President, Francesca Moraci, Irene Gionfredda, Luca Bernardini.
The third session dedicated to Legality will begin at 11.40. Moderated by the journalist Piero Gaeta, will see interventions by Gen. Emilio Errigo (SIN commissioner Crotone-Cerchiara and Cassano) the undersecretaries Wanda Ferro and Matilde Siracusano and the President of Southern Gazette Lino Morgante.
The fourth and final session, at 12.20, will deal with Mediterranean Development, with a round table moderated by Alfredo Focà and Alfio Costa. Bishop Antonio Staglianò and profs participate. Agostino Nuzzolo and Angela Marcianò.
The forum yes cit will close at 1.00 pm with the intervention of the deputy minister Edoardo Rixi and conclusions are entrusted to the Governors 2102 and 21010 Francesco Petrolo and Goffredo Vaccaro. (rrc)
