The League does not vote for Forza Italia and remains out of Cal – AlessioPorcu.it

The internal clash within the centre-right. In Ciociaria FdI and Forza Italia keep the League out. The case of the Cal vote. Where the Northern League did not keep the pact on Florenzani. the blue retaliation. Meanwhile in Latina they assure that Fazzone did it and didn’t want the unitary agreement: leaving Lega and FdI together on Acqualatina

The professor would have liked it Emil Kraepelin. They would have been very passionate about the famous German psychiatrist who first introduced the concept of schizophrenia the dynamics that are uniting and poisoning the center-right in southern Lazio in recent days. In Latina Brothers of Italy and the League they square up and put out of Acqualatina Forza Italia who considered it his fort. According to another popular saying: Forza Italia he didn’t want to accept the three-way deal but preferred to try everything. Left with nothing. In Frosinone instead Brothers of Italy and Forza Italia do square: and the League remains outside the Office of the President of the Council of Local Authorities.

There is a lot of material for the analyst.

Ciociaria, FdI – Forza Italia axis

Gianluca Quadrini with the president Antonello Aurigemma

In Ciociaria the axis is between FdI and Forza Italia. The evidence proves it. The first and administratively largest is the one that led to the new governance of Safthe public company made up of the 91 Municipalities of the province of Frosinone to manage waste disposal. The election of president Fabio De Angelis (FdI) was born from a dialogue between the Brothers of Italy and Forza Italia with the Democratic Party. To whom the League does not participate. One opinion says that she chose to stay out, another claims that they kept her there.

A situation that was repeated in the morning: at the time of voting for the new Cal leaders: the president, two deputies, three secretaries. (Read here: Bureau of Cal, there is an agreement).

The agreement finalized and supported this morning had been reached days ago: 3 on the centre-right and 3 on the centre-left. In particular: President to Brothers of Italy, a vice each to Forza Italia and the Democratic Party; a Secretary to the League and two to the Pd. In the morning finishing the names are indicated: Gianluca Quadrini indicates the name of the councilor for Antonio Tajani’s Party Giammarco Florenzani of Torrice as vice president of Cal.

The deal falls through

Only a few minutes late compared to the scheduled 10.30 and the President of the Lazio Regional Council Antonello Aurigemma opens the works of the Cal settlement session at the headquarters in via della Pisana. Time for pleasantries and the ballot boxes and seats are placed. There is no voting as a group but each election has its own vote.

The first vote is to identify the new president. The agreement stipulates that it will be Luisa Piacentini (FdI) municipal councilor of Marano Equo (Rome). She is elected president of Cal in the second vote, with 33 votes out of 34 voters. A second vote was necessary as on the first call the candidate had stopped at 20 votes: the quorum was 21 (the absolute majority of the Assembly). Already vice-president in the last council meeting, Luisa Piacentini he is also a member of the Board of Directors of Anci Lazio.

The time has come to elect the two vice presidents of the Assembly: the agreement is for the minority councilor Giammarco Florenzani (FI) of Torrice and the mayor of Capranica (Viterbo) Pietro Nocchi (PD). It is on this vote that everything falls apart and the agreements fall through: why Florenzani is elected but only with the 17 votes of his Party (Forza Italia) and those of Fratelli d’Italia; the League places its 4 votes on the mayor of Torrice, Alfonso Santangeli. Nocchi instead was elected with 14.

The League is out

The voting phases

Gianluca Quadrini can’t stand it. Self the League doesn’t vote for its man then Forza Italia doesn’t vote for the League’s man for the Secretariat. And he shifts his votes to FdI: by electing another Councilor secretary for training of Giorgia Meloni leaving the League with nothing.

In the end they are elected Vincenzo La Pegna (FdI) municipal councilor of Aprilia, with 13 votes; Aura Contarino (Pd) municipal councilor of Cisterna di Latina with 8 votes; Marco Benedetti (Pd) mayor of Mentana also with 8 votes. The League voted Chiara Simonetti, municipal councilor of Ascrea (RI): she only received 6 votes: insufficient to elect her.

Forza Italia didn’t want it

In the Acqualatina case, the vote of the mayor of Aprilia was decisive. Now the water and purification company is governed by an Fdi – Lega pact that keeps Forza Italia out. (Read here: Acqualatina, the FdI – Lega axis wins).

But there is also a second version of the vote. According to which Fratelli d’Italia has done everything to keep a channel of dialogue open with Forza Italia and the Regional Coordinator Claudio Fazzone. A channel that envisaged a three-way division between the members of the centre-right: one member of the Board of Directors each for Fratelli d’Italia, Lega and Forza Italia. The ambassador in charge of defining the details is Lanfranco Principi, mayor of Aprilia. He is the one who has to mediate: because he has the ability to dialogue with the protagonists of the two fronts, avoiding tensions.

But Forza Italia, according to this version, said no, preferring to attempt the climb together with the centre-left. However, in the end it was divided: the four Ciociaria municipalities that are in the Ato4 Assembly voted for the winning majority.

Now I’m here the Europeans: it will be a last vote count. They are tied to that result the future structures of the Lazio regional council where Forza Italia demands at least one department more to take away from the League. Another front: entirely within the centre-right.
