PALERMO – There would be problems for the “Peace Earth Dignity” list in the Islands constituency presented by Michele Santoro for the European elections. Confirming problems linked to the electoral certificates linked to the deposited signatures is the city secretary of Rifondazione Frank Ferlisi, who worked hard together with the volunteers to collect the necessary signatures.
The issue of electoral certificates
As reported by Michele Santoro, 17 thousand authenticated signatures had been collected, of which 15,333 were accompanied by electoral certificates. “Indeed – says Frank Ferlisi – there are problems relating to the electoral certificates of the subscribers in the separate deeds. Ours was a race against time to collect signatures. The haste may have played some nasty tricks, but we are confident: we are waiting for the definitive response from the electoral office.”
The other lists in the balance
Santoro’s list for the islands is currently still being examined by the electoral office at the Court of Appeal of Palermo. Other sub judice lists are that of Forza Nuova, Alternativa Popolare, Animalist Party – Italexit and Democracy Sovereign Popular. Official responses are awaited.
