Polls BiDiMedia presents its first survey on the municipal elections which will be held together with the European elections live on social media. First capital polled, Reggio Emilia!

The first city to vote in June 2024 surveyed by BiDiMedia, the capital of Reggio Emilia is a historic stronghold of the left and PD: will the Dems be able to reconfirm themselves after the end of the double mandate of the outgoing mayor Luca Vecchi?
The Csx presents itself with a “very broad field” that brings together not only PD, Greens, Left and M5S, but also liberal parties such as Action, IV and +EU. However, in 2021 some councilors left the PD and M5S who founded the Civic Coalition, a progressive civic formation that presents itself independently by nominating Fabrizio Aguzzoli and aims to achieve important results in a city where the Left has a tradition of strength. The CDX sees the classic formation of the coalition in support of the lawyer Giovanni Tarquini.
Reggio will be an interesting testing ground for the Campo Larghissimo, while the FDI and allies attempt to undermine the PD in one of its strongholds and the Civic Coalition presents itself as a possible tipping point in the event of a run-off.
