Complicated days at Milan, between the Europa League and a derby that could be worth a lot, news arrives on the Rossoneri’s new stadium
Milan is facing a rather complicated period, the double defeat against Roma between the San Siro and the Olympic Stadium cost them elimination from the Europa League. In just three days, Stefano Pioli’s team is preparing to face a derby which, in case of defeat, would mathematically give Simone Inzaghi’s Inter the twentieth title. A scenario that Milan fans would like to avoid at all costs.
In the meantime, news is arriving on the new AC Milan stadium which will be built in San Donato, in this sense the mayor has taken a further step towards the construction of the new facility which will host the AC Milan supporters.
New Milan Stadium: the latest on the facility in San Donato
This is the update from the San Donato administration on the new stadium of the Milanese club: “This morning the administration of San Donato formally sent the membership request to the Program Agreement for the construction of the stadium in the San Francesco area. The objective of the Program Agreement is to address all the strategic aspects to arrive at a hypothesis for the construction of the sports facility, overcoming the critical issues that the Administration itself has highlighted with the actions taken so far”
The objective would be to complete the works by 2028, the year in which the Devil could make his debut in the new home of Milan. In short, a step further towards the distant future (but not too much), while in the near future the interest is aimed at Stefano Pioli. Many were not happy with his work in recent months, but at this point a dismissal at the end of the season would now seem obvious
