The awards ceremony of the 15th Paolo De Luca Award, established by the Siena Club Enrico Chiesa, was held yesterday evening in the traditional location of the Michele Restaurant in Siena. It was the unforgettable Juventus striker who awarded, in a festive setting with chants from the fans present, Lorenzo Lollo, Estra Trophy as best player of the championship, Simone Guerri, Bancacentro Trophy as Sports Director who did well and Fabio Cannoni for the Historical Fans section.
“A very beautiful and well-attended evening in which we celebrated the winners and also the twinning with the Fedelissimi, as well as the promotion and the return to our historic “home”, the Rastrello Stadium” says a beaming Lorenzo Rosso, President of the Siena Club Enrico Chiesa.
“We have experienced a year of rebirth of the black and white colors and we are certain that the new President with his staff will finally take us where Siena has the right to play, both for our history, for the city and its wonderful fans” added Riccardo Benucci, Director of “Il Bianconero”, the press organ of the Chiesa Club.
