PALERMO – A day is scheduled for Saturday 20 April at the “Livia Morello” Health Park with Vivi Sano and the partner associations. Many free activities are planned during the event.

The program of activities

It starts at dawn, at 6.10 am sharp, with the sun salute. Yoga and meditation by the sea with the Rishi Culture Center. At 9.00 the start of the “Foro Italico parkrun”, a non-competitive 5 km, with departure and arrival at the park, which crosses a route that runs along the seafront towards Sant’Erasmo. Walkers and runners together for an event twinned with “From the park to the square… run with us”.

From 9.30 to 13.00 free medical visits with the Vivi Sano cardiologists thanks to “Popular Sport in Public Space”, a project supported by the CON IL SUD Foundation.

At 10.00 the start of the sports tournaments on the occasion of the inauguration of the new surface of the multipurpose field donated by Livia Onlus, AMG Gas and Misericordia Piana Degli Albanesi. Basketball with the special athletes of Vivi Sano, reigning Fisdir national champions, who will play together with the boys of ASD Baskin Palermo and the Mannara DOGS, basketball players who are no longer young but have good skills. A real little match dedicated to inclusion.

Then it will be the turn of the little ones with the Vivi Sano and Nuova Pallacanestro Palermo minibasketball teams. Followed by football with another joyful match with the women of the “Boomerang Calcio Camminato” who will perform and play with the children of the social sports schools of Addiopizzo and Vivi Sano.

Activities at sea

Sports activities will also be carried out outside the park. At 11.00 everyone heads to the sea, also on this occasion thanks to “Sport Popolare in Spazio Pubblico”, for a trip to the cove to row together in a dragon boat. Appointment at the pier of the Italian Naval League for girls and boys aged 7 and up. Finally, at the park, from 11.30 the volunteers of the Sicily Taekwondo Academy and Vivi Sano will clean the cliff in front of the park on the occasion of “Earth Day 2024”.
