The participation of the “Ancina” high school delegation in the Provincial Athletics Final which was held on Thursday 18 April in Cuneo as part of the Student Championships & ASPP ended with five medals, four of which were gold and one bronze.
Below are the high school students on the podium in the different disciplines: James Omigie (2nd AL class) provincial high jump champion, Alessandro Melis (2nd AL) provincial long jump champion, Ginevra Gallo (2nd BU) provincial 100 hurdles champion; Naomi Operti (2nd BU), Ginevra Gallo (2nd BU), Gaia Gerbaldo (2nd AS), Giorgia Reinaudo (2nd BU) provincial champions of the 4×100 relay, Giorgia Reinaudo (2nd BU) third place in the 100 meter dash.
The winners of the three individual races, namely James Omigie, Alessandro Melis and Ginevra Gallo, have also qualified for the regional final scheduled in Vercelli on May 7th.
