The Municipality of Foggia has launched a tender to start the “PINQuA Borgo Croci” project, i.e. a program to redevelop this neighborhood of the city. In place of the current illegal barracks, 56 ERS accommodations will be built. Furthermore, regeneration works are planned for the greenery and squares in the areas between Viale Candelaro and Via Capitanata. Finally, the strengthening of infrastructure, such as roads and transport, was also envisaged.
The tender, financed by the PNRR as part of the “National Innovative Program for the Quality of Living”, has a value of almost 9 million euros.

The allocation of housing and the regeneration of Borgo Croci The financial allocation made available for the construction works of the new 56 ERS apartments and the regeneration of the squares and green areas amounts to 8,905,512.61 euros, of which:
– Amount of works based on the auction to be subject to a reduction: 5,744,168.99 euros
– Charges for the implementation of safety plans not subject to reduction: 229,206.11 euros
– Labor costs not subject to reduction: 2,932,137.51 euros
The contract is financed with PNRR funds under Mission 5 “Inclusion and cohesion”, Component 2 “Social infrastructure, families, communities and third sector”, Investment 2.3 “Innovative program for the quality of living”, for which a total of 2.80 billion euros have been allocated.
Foggia contract: duration of works in Borgo Croci The activities to be carried out envisaged by the tender must be completed within a maximum of 760 days starting from the date of the work delivery report.
How to participate and deadline: The tender procedure is managed electronically via the TRASPARE e-procurement system of the Municipality of Foggia. The deadline has been set at 12pm on 13 May April 2024. The proposals will then be evaluated starting from 10am on the following 16 May, with the application of the criterion of the most economically advantageous offer, pursuant to art. 108 of the Legislative Decree. 36/2023 (Procurement Code).
