STIENTA (Rovigo) – Saturday morning, 27 April, a representative of the Club dal Tigin, one of the most active voluntary association groups in the municipal area, went to the council chamber of the municipality of Stienta to deliver to the social services office of the municipality, a wheelchair to be used during transport organized by the personal services office to hospitals or other clinics by citizens in need of accompaniment and who request it. The Councilor for Social and Health Services broke the news with enormous satisfaction Marco Franchiwho with the mayor Enrico Ferrarese, the social worker of the municipality Francesca Bersanetti and the representative of the human services office Silvio Garutti welcomed the representatives of the Club dal Tigin in the municipal headquarters.
This initiative expresses the will and spirit of solidarity of the group for the community and in particular of their president Marco Zaniwho disappeared a few months ago, but still a beacon and point of reference for these volunteers.
The mayor of Ferrarese, on behalf of the municipal administration, thanked the Club for what it is doing, distinguishing itself in solidarity towards the entire community, underlining that it is the result of efforts and work carried out by volunteers who carry out the mission of doing to give and help those in need.
