Indeed, remain within the norm because this electoral campaign has slipped like water over roofs and without leaving a trace. Just digging there are some candidates who have confused the roles. Typically journalists ask questions and candidates answer, but the opposite happened. Typically candidates are interviewed and instead have done interviews. Venial sins though, as long as you also have proposals and not just questions to ask. But the proposals are nowhere to be found: just lists of problems, mostly identical, together with the only apt slogan: better late than Bardi. Slogan, however, immediately set aside because, like those of Bardi, the Marrese lists of the former wide field were not born from a process or a political project, they were not born from a conciliation in extremis between opposing visions and different development programs. To trivialize, between those who want Lauria – Candela and those who don’t, between those who want the airport in Pisticci and those who don’t, but from the chaos of the last week before the vote with meaningless candidacies and thrown contents to mentula canis in the competition and burned in an amen, in a squalid downward game in search of the most colorless and therefore most maneuverable name possible. In addition, with a part that left the table to find better luck in the center right, certainly not for programmatic and noble reasons. Isn’t it also worth it for its history and tradition, as well as for having the opportunity to escape from the infrastructural isolation of a Pacific island and not an emerged land? Being from the area, perhaps if he had also proposed Lagonegro or Lauria province I would have voted for him and he would have taken some votes away from Pittella.
In all of this there are those who find the time and courage to be scandalized and quote the Constitution, which is always an ever green quote and is very politically correct in every circumstance, against those who propose generative abstentionism as a form of civic struggle.
If a consumer goes to a super market and only finds rotten meat, spoiled fish and expired snacks, why should he be forced to buy anything? Of course, gleaning here and there among the lists and candidates, not everything should be thrown away. But that little is not enough just as it is not enough to say we need to reform the internal system, a healthy apple in a basket of rotten apples has never healed the rotten ones! And it is no longer enough for us to vote for the least worst. Enough! This is an alibi for not building, for always wallowing in the usual games between caciques and potentates, enough! I believe that voters deserve the effort to make proposals and to vote positively for the best and most convincing one.
There isn’t much out there, apart from a few slightly smarter lists, but if you dig deep into the company you can find something. Why not enhance it? And in any case it is the person who is running who has the duty to say why he is running and why he deserves the vote. On which proposals and on which projects and with which track record of credibility. However, after the elections there will be at least two things that will need to be made public and clarified to re-establish a minimum level of trust with the electorate. The first is the reason for the insistence usque mortim on Chiorazzo, the second is whoever made, guaranteed, and sponsored the name of Lacerenza, making a good impression not only on the national leaders of the M5S and the PD, but also on all Lucanians and on Lacerenza himself.
