Termoli. He steals a car and engages in a chase with the police: a minor arrested

Following an intervention carried out during a targeted patrol service, the Carabinieri of the NOR Radiomobile Section of the Termoli Company (CB) arrested a minor from Puglia, suspected of resisting a Public Official, personal injury and improper robbery.

During the service along the SS 16 in Campomarino (CB), the Carabinieri tried in vain to stop a car traveling at high speed. A chase followed, also with the help of another crew from the same Army Command, during which the car performed several dangerous maneuvers. The chase ended after about 10 kilometers again in Campomarino (CB), when the young man rammed one of the military vehicles and attempted to escape on foot. However, he was stopped after a brief scuffle during which one of the officers suffered personal injuries.

Subsequent investigations revealed that the car, registered in Termoli, had been stolen shortly before while it was parked in the center of Termoli (CB). During the same service, the military managed to recover another car stolen a few days earlier also in Termoli.

The recovered vehicles were returned to their rightful owners, while the minor was arrested. Subsequently, during a hearing before the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Juvenile Court of Campobasso, the arrest was validated and the precautionary measure of staying at home was imposed on the young man, in order to prevent further crimes.
