Cesena has already started planning for the future after having achieved promotion to Serie B well in advance with the sporting director Fabio Arctic who in recent weeks has maintained increasingly frequent contact with the property – John Aiello And Anthony Scotto – waiting for the two American entrepreneurs to land in Italy in a week. In fact, there could already be a first face-to-face meeting on April 26th with not only the budget and objectives for next season on the table, but above all the coach’s future Domenico Toscano.

After the triumphant ride of the season, the coach saw the automatic renewal of his contract until 2025, but it is not certain that he will be able to lead the Bianconeri in Serie B as well. In fact, on several occasions both he and the management explained that they needed to talk and compare with bowls still to plan the future and understand if there is a union of intent to move forward or if it is better to say goodbye after an unforgettable year.

It will be the first turning point in the planning in view of the 2024/25 season when a managerial figure could arrive to strengthen the management staff, probably a general director, to support Marco Valentini, Fabio artigianato and Massimo Agostini.

Technical and not only because Cesena aims to lock down all its young talents to fend off the transfer sirens, which sound particularly loud for the midfielder Tommaso Bertiwhich achieved the objectives to trigger the renewal until 2027, and Cristian Shpendi. The extensions – again for another three seasons – of the various Simone Pieraccini, Matteo Francesconi, Antonio David and Alessandro Giovannini should also arrive in the coming weeks.
