Opta statistics

Bologna have won 45 of 131 Serie A matches against Torino (D40, P46), only against Roma (53) and Lazio (48) have the rossoblù achieved more successes against a single opponent in the tournament.

After the 2-0 success in the first leg last November 27, Bologna could win both seasonal matches against Torino in Serie A for the first time since 1980/81 with Luigi Radice as coach of the Emilians.

Torino have remained unbeaten in seven of their last eight home games against Bologna in Serie A (6W, 1D), the only success for the rossoblù away from home against the granata in the period dates back to 16 March 2019 (3-2).

In April 2024 only Salernitana (one) obtained fewer points than Torino in Serie A (two in four matches); Furthermore, the Granata are the team that scored the fewest goals in the period (only two goals).

Torino has not found a way to score in the last three Serie A matches, in this championship the Granata have already remained without scoring for four consecutive matches: between September and October 2023.

In the second round of this championship, only Inter (41) has gained more points than Bologna: 31 in 15 matches, equal to Milan. During the period, only Inter (nine) conceded fewer goals than Bologna (11) and Turin (13) in Serie A.

Torino are the team that have recorded the highest number of clean sheets in home matches this season in the top five European leagues: 12 in 17 matches – immediately behind are Bologna with 11, equal to Inter. More in detail, the Granata have not conceded a goal in seven of their last eight matches at the Olimpico Grande Torino in Serie A.

Only Martin Ødegaard (45) and Luis Díaz (36) have created more goalscoring chances from open play for Raoul Bellanova’s (35) teammates in 2024 in Europe’s top five leagues. More generally, Raoul Bellanova provided five assists which led to Duván Zapata’s goal, no player has served more winning passes to a single teammate in this Serie A, a record equal to Weston McKennie’s for Dusan Vlahovic.

No player has been involved in more Serie A goals than Alexis Saelemaekers in April 2024: four (three goals and one assist), equal to Hakan Çalhanoglu and Ademola Lookman. Furthermore, the class of ’99 scored in two consecutive matches for the first time in his career between Serie A and the Belgian top division.

Joshua Zirkzee has scored 11 goals in this championship (like Teun Koopmeiners), the last Dutch player to score more goals in a single Serie A season was Ruud Gullit in 1994/95 (12).
