The candidate for Mayor of Sanremo Alessandro Mager continues to meet various associations and organizations in order to delve deeper into crucial issues and collaborate on the planning of interventions aimed at improving the city. Thursday afternoon Alessandro Mager, together with Ester Moscato (Anima) met Gianluca Boeri and Domenico Pautasso, President and Director of Coldiretti Imperia, a dynamic association that defends agricultural producers and which believes that “in a region where niche agri-food and floriculture represents the best possible business card for tourists who come from everywhere, we need a strong, courageous and far-sighted governance culture”.

Also in this case Alessandro Mager listened to the proposals and requests of the interlocutors, aware of the importance of the agricultural world in general and the floriculture world in general, both from an economic and social point of view, both with regards to the productive factor as well as for what concerns the tourist promotion that Sanremo derives from being known throughout the world as the city of flowers.

Coldiretti presented some extremely reasonable proposals, on which it will be necessary for the next municipal administration of Sanremo to make the necessary reflections: there was talk of water and road infrastructures, of a circular economy and of recovery and protection of the territory, of the Campagna Amica markets, of the problems of the Valle Armea flower market, of the promotion and valorisation of production and of the territory, of cadastral estimates. Coldiretti also proposed the creation of a Department of agriculture and floriculture, promotion and valorisation and land management.

After having taken note of the proposals, Mager confirmed his maximum willingness to listen and collaborate in the future with trade associations for the needs of the agricultural and horticultural sector.
