Sciacca recently hosted an exclusive “Educational Tour” for 19 senior executives from travel agencies and tour operators in the UK and US.
The event, organized by an incoming agency in Italy in collaboration with the Verdura Resort and the Museo Diffuso dei 5 Sensi, aimed to raise awareness of the luxury resorts and authentic experiences of Sicily. Tour participants were taken on a journey of discovery of the fascinating village sailor of Sciacca, where they had the opportunity to interact with local artisans, restaurateurs, florists, fishermen and musicians. They were also able to learn about the unique craftsmanship of Sciacca coral.
