Big news ahead for the Provincial Stadium of Trapani. On the occasion of the next Serie C championship, the Granata club is planning a major expansion of the sports facility to accommodate a greater number of spectators.
The expansion project will bring the capacity of the Provincial Stadium from 7622 seats to approximately 11,000 seats, an increase of over 3,000 seats which will allow Trapani Calcio to satisfy the expected increase in demand for tickets for home matches.
The expansion project involves the creation of a new guest area with approximately 500 seats, which will be located next to the steps with an independent structure and dedicated access from via Salvatore Caruso. This move will allow Trapani to create a new south curve dedicated to local fans, with a capacity of approximately 2,000 seats. The new south curve will be equipped with a structure that will replace the current one, dating back to 2013.
The expansion will not be limited to the southern curve. The Granata club is in fact also evaluating the possibility of expanding the current north curve, which has always been the heart of the warmest support at the Provincial Stadium. The idea is to add around 1,000 seats to the sides of the current structure and above, bringing the total capacity of the north curve to 2,500 seats.
