Campobasso: Towards the 2024 budget of the Molise Region: hearings at Palazzo D’Aimmo

CAMPOBASSO. As part of the budget session, the First Commission, chaired by its President, Roberto Di Pardo, held the first of the three hearings scheduled yesterday morning to delve into the aspects of the various documents (the Economic and Financial Document for the three-year period 2024/2026, the proposed law no. 21, concerning, “Forecast budget of the Molise Region 2024-2026”, the proposed law no. 22, concerning, “Regional stability law 2024”, proposed by the Regional Council and the Multi-year budget forecast of the Regional Council for the financial years 2024-2026, proposed by the Office of the President of the Assembly), forming part of the 2024 budget maneuver being examined by the council body.

As highlighted by President Di Pardo, today’s hearing with the heads of the regional council structures, the budget councilor, Gianluca Cefaratti, the general director of the regional council, Domenico Nucci, and the director of the budget service, Tonio Ferocino , and of the Regional Council, the President Quintino Pallante, the general secretary Iocca, the director of the Budget Service, Gabriella Santoro, is useful to the Commissioners and to all the Councilors who have intended to participate in the work of the Commission, to better understand the different aspects of the acts administrative legislation under evaluation, also allowing, if necessary, to ask questions to the interlocutors to obtain appropriate clarifications on specific points.

The Commissioners asked the political and technical representatives of the Executive and the Regional Council questions on the structuring of the various budget documents under examination, also carrying out considerations regarding the results of the recent hearing of the Court of Auditors concerning the judgment of equalization of the General Account of the Region Molise 2020. The interlocutors of the Executive and the Assembly then illustrated the strategies of the various documents drawn up and submitted for evaluation by the Commission and the Assembly, without failing to provide answers regarding the various issues raised.

Then, the second hearing of the first Commission took place yesterday afternoon, chaired by its president Roberto Di Pardo, as part of the examination of the documents of the 2024 Budget Maneuver (the Economic and Financial Document for the three-year period 2024/ 2026, law proposal no. 21, concerning, “Forecast budget of the Molise region 2024-2026”, law proposal no. 22, concerning, “Regional stability law 2024”, proposed by the regional council and the budget of multi-year forecast of the Regional Council for the financial years 2024-2026, proposed by the Office of the President of the Assembly) with trade union organisations, sub-regional bodies, investee companies, Mountain Communities and other institutional and guarantee bodies.

The budget councilor, Gianluca Cefaratti, illustrated the documents of the Maneuver, highlighting the state of the regional accounts and the strategies outlined to activate the various recovery and development policies that the Executive has defined.

This was followed by interventions by representatives of the trade unions, of the Mountain Communities, of the sub-regional bodies (IREAMO), of the Equality Councillor, of the Association of former Regional Councilors and of Funivie Molise, who made some considerations and asked questions to Councilor Cefaratti , who provided an appropriate response in this regard.
