Brescia. The tail end of autumn, but perhaps it would be better to say winter, in this second part of April.
After a warm March, with values well above the seasonal average, the weather “plays a bad joke” and after granting the mirage of an early summer, it makes us once again wear long-sleeved shirts and heavier jackets at least until the end of the month.
Temperatures are in fact destined to plummet over the weekend, accompanied by thunderstorms and further steps.
Between Sunday and Monday there will be the icy turning point. Copious snowflakes are expected at low altitudes: 500 meters in the Alps and 1000 in the Apennines. A real anomaly for being the end of April but which, if we think about it, is the flip side of what happened in March with a surprising summery climate.
On Friday, in Brescia, mostly cloudy skies for the entire day, no rain is expected in the next few hours. During the day the maximum temperature recorded will be 17° C, the minimum 6° C.
Saturday clear or slightly cloudy skies in the morning, with clouds increasing to very cloudy skies and light rain in the afternoon. Clearance in the evening: 1mm of rain is expected. During the day the values in the mercury column will be between a maximum of 16°C and a minimum of 8°C. A is indicated strong wind warning.
Sunday the high pressure weakens, favoring the entry of wetter currents responsible for a rapid increase in cloud cover from the afternoon, a harbinger of light rain in the evening. Temperatures will hover between a maximum of 17°C and a minimum of 6°C.
The worst, however, will arrive at the beginning of next week when the forecast indicates the presence of a low pressure area that embraces the Region, resulting in marked bad weather with widespread rainfall, including downpours or thunderstorms at least until Wednesday 24 April. Drastic drop in the mercury column, with values that will drop to 9°C for minimums and 12°C for maximums.
