SUSA – Excellent performances for the Emmeti Snowmobile Team involved in the 2024 Italian Snowcross Championship. For years the Valsusino team has participated in the Italian and Swiss snowcross championships, preparing the Lynx snowmobiles in the best possible way and this year with Federico Amadei they had the privilege of participating in the stage of the World Championship held in Turkey. On the weekend of the 16th and 17th, the first two stages of the Italian championship took place in the Lombardy town of Livigno (Sondrio), also valid for the Central Europe Snowcross Trophy, where unfortunately the Bardonecchia rider Federico Amadei due to technical problems with his snowmobile he didn’t have a good debut, finishing the two days of racing in fourth position. In the third stage of the world championship which took place on 6 April in the Trepalle district of Livigno, Amadei made amends in a big way by winning two of the three heats, gaining the top step of the podium in the day’s rankings. Finally, in the last stage held on 13 and 14 April at the Toce waterfalls in Alta Val Formazza in the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola region, with the victories of all the heats for the Bardonecchian rider during both days, he was named Italian champion for the third time 2024. The team also avails itself of the young Jacopo Mussa from Chiomonte who closes the championship in fourth position on his debut in the Fast category.

The next appointment will be on May 24th and 25th in Austria for the last stage of the Central European Trophy where the entire team will try to win the title. The Wildkogel Bacher-Skidoo Summercross Race returns this year for its third edition and promises to be yet another action-packed snowmobile race. The best Snowcross riders from Central Europe will compete against the most successful Scandinavian riders in the world. Among them are FIM World Champion Petter Nårsa from Sweden, 2021 FIM European Champion and 2023 Super League overall winner Gustav Sahlsten, also from Sweden. Additionally, many factory riders who raced in the American US Pro Tour over the winter will join the competition. On the starting line will be Elias Bacher, the local hero and winner of the 2023 Central Europe Snowcross Trophy and the 2023 Wildkogel Bacher-Skidoo Summercross.
Other top Italian riders will also participate in the race, such as Federico Amadei, Jacopo Mussa, Michele Donazzan and Livignasco Marco Galli who are among the best Snowcross riders in Central Europe.

For the first time, the Wildkogel Bacher-Skidoo Summercross will not include selected riders but will instead feature the top twelve Snowcross riders who have reached the finals of the prestigious racing series in Scandinavia, the Snowcross Super League, as well as the top four riders of the Trophy Snowcross Central Europe. The final race of the Central Europe Snowcross Trophy will take place as a side event on Friday 24 May. The circuit is located at an impressive altitude of 2,100 meters on the Wildkogel in the Kitzbühel Alps.
