The Royal Palace of Naples opens the ‘Fioriera’ Depot to the public on Saturday 20 April. The initiative, which is part of the “Depot Saturday” programme, includes a guided tour of these places which are usually accessible only to sector experts. For the occasion, visitors will be able to discover the numerous works of art found in the Palazzo Reale warehouse.

The ‘Fioriera’ Depot, located below the Belvedere Courtyard, is located in what was once a space intended for the Navy. During the French decade, this place began to host paintings and today houses some of the most important nineteenth-century furnishings from the rooms that now house the “Vittorio Emanuele III” National Library.

For the occasion, visitors will be accompanied by Museum staff to discover the precious furnishings and works of art via routes not usually accessible to the public.

Reservation is mandatory while places are available at the following link: https://www.coopculture.it/it/prodotti/il-sabato-dei-depositi/ or on site at the ticket office, in case of residual availability.
It is also necessary to have an access ticket to the Museum which can be purchased online (at the link https://www.coopculture.it/it/) and at the ticket office.
