TRENT. As part of the tax checks in the area, the soldiers of the Borgo Valsugana Financial Police discovered irregularities in the hiring of 14 workers in a company active in the catering sector based in Alta Valsugana. In particular – we learn – the company employed twelve people without a regular contract, while two were irregular.

The investigations highlighted how the staff were employed completely illegally, without there having been electronic communication to the information system of the Ministry of Labor and prior information on the establishment of employment relationships. The employer was also in default of the relevant tax, social security and welfare obligations.

The military applied the so-called “maxi-sanction” for illegal work in stages, in relation to the duration of the irregular employment relationship and the improper use of cash to pay workers. The adoption of the measure to suspend entrepreneurial activity was also proposed to the competent Labor Inspection Office of the Province of Trento.
