here is the “In&Young” project in Andria – Telesveva Notizie

The exhibition entitled “Dimore. Threads beyond borders” at the conclusion of a project promoted by the Andria-based association In&Young entitled “Rinascita”.

The presentation at Palazzo di Città in Andria for a project that lasted over a year and involved around twenty women in the sign of a rebirth linked to traditions and the territory. An empathetic and practical path that allowed us to work on the ancient art of embroidery through long laboratory work in which there was no shortage of incursions from professionals and artists.

Embroidery as an expressive modality that allowed each of the participants to express their identity and their way of being in the world in their relationship with each other. The basis for the exhibition which can be visited at the Diocesan Museum “San Riccardo” until May 5th is an embroidery which reproduced a map of the city of Andria from above. But the themes covered thanks to the skill of the embroiderers are also the connection with the land and in particular with the Murgia for a real walk in the territory waiting to be discovered.

Empathy coach, empathy designer but also psychologists and artists to accompany a creative group in a project in which institutional partners are the Municipality of Andria and the Polo for arts and culture and tourism as well as the CPIA BAT to establish a link with the world school. But “Rinascita” also had an important opening to the world of private partners with the communication of Artsmedia or the support of Cibelle with which an important collaboration was born.
