The prefect of Messina, Cosima di Stani, today chaired a meeting for the establishment of the coordination cabin for the implementation of the PNRR, awaiting the guidelines that will be adopted by the specific mission structure of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
The body will take care of the monitoring activities of the programs and interventions envisaged by the Plan at the provincial level and will represent a further support tool in favor of local authorities, in addition to the unitary territorial Presidium.
During the meeting, aimed at preparing working guidelines, the administrations involved illustrated the progress of the projects under their responsibility in order to examine the interventions that concern the provincial territory and identify any critical issues.
The meeting was attended by the Superintendent of cultural and environmental heritage of the capital and representatives of the Sicilian Region, the Metropolitan City of Messina, the interregional authority for public works Sicily – Calabria, ANCI Sicily and the territorial accounting office of the local state.
Finally, the prefect stated that the municipalities of the province and the administrations involved from time to time will also be involved in the next meetings.
