Thanks to the students of the “Raineri Marcora” Piacenza becomes a “City with a positive impact”. The project promoted by Pmg Italia Società Benefit was born with theobjective of spreading an inclusive culture based on eco-sustainable behavior and saw the collaboration of the Municipality of Piacenza, Auser, some entrepreneurs and the Raineri Marcora campus.
Students from three classes, second C and third A and C, participated in a contest with around ten projects focused on the themes of social responsibility, attention towards the environment and the most vulnerable people: in the end two were selected by the jury and awarded with two scholarships – worth 500 euros each – awarded available from the companies Bft Burzoni and Euro Holstein.
“All the projects presented are the result not only of the children’s imagination, but also of their desire to truly improve the conditions of the community, with particular attention to sustainability – explains the teacher in charge of the project Paola Gazzola who together with colleagues Mara Croci And Maddalena Foti helped the students to develop the different works – the two winning projects were “Sustainable playground” and “Breaking Barriers””.
“These projects are a source of great satisfaction for us – explains the CEO of Pmg Italia Marco Mazzoni – since 2020 we have expanded our areas of intervention, involving the new generations, who will in fact be the citizens of the future, in training and awareness-raising projects”.
