Campania. Over 17 million euros for municipalities for buildings of strategic interest

“Campania Region. Over 17 million euros for the Municipalities in relation to the execution of local interventions or improvement or seismic adaptation or demolition and reconstruction of buildings and infrastructures of strategic interest

Good afternoon friends in the Campania Region, we have published the Notice aimed at identifying buildings and infrastructural works of strategic interest, whose functionality during seismic events takes on fundamental importance for the purposes of civil protection, owned by the Municipalities, to which allocate contributions – we read in the post – for the prevention of seismic risk through local structural interventions or seismic improvement or seismic adaptation or possibly demolition and reconstruction.

Municipalities that own buildings and strategic infrastructures of regional interest can apply for funding. The categories of buildings and strategic infrastructures of regional interest are the following: -strategic buildings intended for the coordination of interventions.

-strategic buildings that host: a Mixed Operations Center (COM), a Municipal Operations Center (COC), other types – we read further – of strategic buildings (e.g.: reception centres, hospitalization centres, etc.); -strategic infrastructure works (limited to bridges and viaducts). The Region will allocate to the Municipalities, which request it, a total amount of over 17 million euros”.
