Anticipation is growing in the city (but not only) for the imminent start of Lucca Classica Music Festival That will open its doors on Wednesday (24 April) and will invade the city with music until Sunday 28 April.
From today (17 April) the ticket office set up at the Teatro del Giglio is also open where it is possible to purchase most of the tickets for the many scheduled events. In fact, more than 60 are planned, including large concerts – such as the opening one (24 April at 9.15pm) with the King’s Singers, the La Scala quartet that pays homage to Puccini (Thursday 25 April at 4.30pm), Giovanni Sollima with the new project with the violinist Federico Guglielmo and the Il Pomo d’Oro orchestra (Friday 26 April at 9.15 pm), the evening dedicated to prose with Claudio Santamaria and Francesca Barra (Saturday 27 April at 9.15pm) – and many other cameos in the most diverse places such as the events dedicated to Puccini, the “music with” at Palazzo Ducale, the concerts in the museums of Villa Guinigi and Palazzo Mansi. The ticket office at the Teatro del Giglio is open from Wednesday to Saturday from 10.30am to 1pm and 3.30pm to 6pm, and on festival days one hour before the start of each show. Tickets can also be purchased online from April 10th on the Vivaticket platform. For events that are not available in advance, ticket offices will be set up directly in the various concert venues.
