Bologna, 17 April 2024 – Every day could be the right one to make the announcement official candidacy for the European elections. What, however, is taken (almost) for certain is that Stefano Bonaccini will run from leaders in the European ChampionshipsIn the North East.
The date on which the reserve will be dissolved is not set, although there is no lack of pressure from the opposition, with the Italian Valentina Castaldini who defines all this procrastination as “undignified”.
In any case, considering the wait PD Management on the lists it will be Sunday, not long left. The puzzle is closed for Brussels (in the North-East the names are those of Bonaccini, Annalisa Corrado, Alessandra Moretti, Elisabetta Gualmini, Alessandro Zan, Ivan Pedretti of the Spi-Cgil, Andrea Zanoni), the discussion on the Regionals begins on Monday.
The dossier is in the hands of PD of Emilia-Romagna, with the secretary Luigi Tosiani ready to start an orderly process which immediately involves the convening of the party’s regional bodies – secretariat and management – to launch “a permanent electoral campaign” until the date of the vote on Viale Aldo Moro (with Bonaccini in Europe, the chips on November).
One of the first themes will be that of primaries, already pulled out of the hat by the outgoing MEP, ready for an encore, Elisabetta Gualmini and, yesterday, also by the possible allies of Italia Viva, with the Councilor for Culture, Mauro Felicori: “I will fight to ensure that the centre-left candidate exits the coalition primaries. The only way to revive trust in the institutions.”
But from what filters through, Azione would also be in favor of the primaries, while among the Dems the gazebos are a bit of a last resort. Hence the names that have been circulating in recent days – in addition to the regional councilor Vincenzo Collathe vice president Irene Priolo and the mayor of Ravenna Michele de Pascale – are those of profiles who could avoid the primaries, such as that of the former minister Graziano Delrio.
On the Schein front, however, the idea of the CGIL leader does not seem to have completely disappeared Maurizio Landini (a hypothesis which, however, would risk splitting the Democratic Party), while a name that has started to circulate among the Dems is that of the professor from the Prodi area Filippo Andreatta, son of Beniamino, already on the verge of candidacy for the previous elections. We will see.
Certainly, what environments close toSchlein areais that the civic component will have an important weight in the composition of the lists at the European elections, but also at the regional elections.
A risk which, however, will have to take into account the renewed agreement between the area Andrea De Maria and that of the minority of Francesco Critelli.
Not to mention that in the regional governing bodies, the Bonaccini area has the majority.
However, it is unlikely that the Nazarene will cede the golden share and it is already filtering that we are thinking about a third of civic names for Viale Aldo Moro, with profiles coming from the world of culture or healthcare.
