In the coastal area, the new 2024 asphalt plan of the municipality of Cesenatico comes into force. In recent days the workers have concentrated in the area of the Alfiero Moretti municipal stadium, where the Friday market usually takes place in the adjacent streets. It is a crucial and important area for the entire city, which also needed interventions in view of the summer season, when the market surface will extend to reach 300 stalls.
In two weeks, from the first week of May, the plan will come to life, moving between the various directions of the municipal territory, in relation to priorities. The company carrying out the works is Romagnola Strade di Bertinoro, which won the contract for a total amount of 500 thousand euros.
The asphalt plan was created in synergy with the technicians of Cesenatico Servizi and represents a synthesis of the critical issues that emerged from inspections, meetings with the area committees and discussions with the local police. We will intervene with asphalt on a total surface area of over 18 thousand square meters and on pavements with a surface area of over 1,000 square metres, including the porphyry pavements of Cesenatico center and Boschetto where pedestrian falls have been recorded.
Mayor Matteo Gozzoli is focusing a lot on these interventions: “The new 2024 asphalt plan is yet another important investment that we are making, to try to cover as many areas of the city as possible. Since the first mandate we have allocated important resources in this area, to address critical issues”.
