The Disability card arrives in Bari to access services, benefits and discounts for people with disabilities

Bari – Bari also becomes part of the national project European Disability Card. The municipal council has in fact approved joining the initiative and the agreement scheme between the Municipality, the Metropolitan City and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers for access to services or goods at subsidized rates for people with limitations.
WHAT IS THE CARD FOR?
The disability card – explains the press – is a nominal card valid throughout Europe, which allows people with disabilities easier access to goods and services offered by public and private structures affiliated with the Municipalities in Italy and in the EU countries participating in the project, reducing bureaucracy and eliminating the need to present the disability certificate each time. The card can be used to certify one’s disability condition in public offices, therefore replacing paper certificates and disability reports to all intents and purposes. Thanks to the agreement, the Municipality and Metropolitan City will allow holders of the disability card the possibility of free or discounted access to a series of cultural spaces or events. Among these there are the Corrado Giaquinto art gallery, the Santa Scolastica archaeological museum, the Civic museum of Bari, the Murat space, the Piccinni theater (within the limits of the capacity of the dedicated spaces and upon reservation for each individual show), the San Nicola stadium ( within the limits of the capacity of the dedicated spaces and upon reservation for each individual match), the concerts of the symphonic ICO of the metropolitan city of Bari, in relation to the annual programming.
The disability card can also be used for free access to all state cultural sites including the Swabian castle of Bari.
