The goal achieved confirms what the company’s programs were at the beginning of the season: salvation and enhancement of the nursery. This year, Mediterranea was the youngest team in the tournament, made up mostly of athletes from Cerignola, many of whom, despite not yet being of age, have demonstrated that they can handle the pitch well and under the guidance of the two coaches (both from Cerignola). Matteo Digiorgio And Pierantonio Menduni they achieved salvation against teams made up of much more experienced players.
Following the policy that the club guides, the team has found space for athletes almost all from the youth sector, such as the two sixteen-year-olds Lorenzo Pepperone of the best prospects of the Cerignola nursery and the Foggia area Samuel Livini from this year aggregated to the under 17s. Having put safety aside, we now look to the next championship with the awareness of being able to count on a more proven team.
We will start again with the nineteen-year-old captain Anthony Marano which already boasts three years of militancy in the senior championships which will be joined by a team made up of players who will be able to count on the experience gained this year in the category and ready to get back into the game in a team that can be completed with the addition of some a more experienced element who will aim to play a calmer championship with an eye on the playoffs.
