Work: Magnacca, Training, an essential element to ensure safety on construction sites

(REGFLASH) Pescara, 16 April. “The great challenge to which we are all called is on the safety front in the workplace because it is no longer permissible, in the modern era and technological innovation, to count the number of those who lose their lives to work. It is true that we do not have direct competences as a Region, but it is up to us to strengthen our commitment to closeness to companies so that they are enabled to follow and activate awareness-raising programs on workplace safety to protect workers. To this end, the President Marsilio has signed a protocol with INAIL which will allow us, shortly, to be able to prepare training courses precisely in this matter”. This was declared by the councilor for Productive Activities and Work, Tiziana Magnacca, in commenting on the Opra Abruzzo report on the Accidents at work.
“Despite the safety standards established by the laws in force, we must not take anything for granted, believing that accidents can never happen. We must work to ensure that there is continuous training in the workplace, which also involves the world of schools, to train culture that preserves from the episodes of deaths that have not seen our region immune in recent months” concludes councilor Magnacca.
