“The summer season is upon us but our coastline is not ready to welcome visitors in a decent way”. This was stated by the leader of the Democratic Party in the City Council, Matteo Trapaniwho reported a situation of degradation widespread along the entire Pisan coast.
“Despite the efforts of many citizens, associations and traders to make it livable, the lack of planning and attention of this administration has the effect of presenting our beautiful coast as an abandoned construction site – he added – just take a walk on the Marina seafront, for example, to see the accumulation of rust both in the works carried out a few years ago and in those that still have to be carried out. Almost 6 years ago we had already asked to invest in a serious total redevelopment planwhich included trees and shaded areas, furnishings and resurfacing of the road surface and benches”.

Finally, the dem group leader also highlights the critical issues of Calambrone And Tirrenia. “The first is without sidewalks and with a non-existent road surface, because it has been abandoned for years; while the second lacks any real investment – he concluded – our coast is an important area which in recent years has not only seen no commitment of Mayor Conti’s administration in terms of resources and planning, but also that after the first proclamations it was abandoned“.
