The new shop in via Verdi was inaugurated a few days ago. Flanked by his father Gianni, who retired in January after 50 years in the barber shop

50 meters from the historic Pippo’s shop, the barber founded by his grandfather and where his father Gianni worked for 50 years, now the baton passes to his son, Mattia Costa.
He is 31 years old but he has been a barber since he was 19 in the very well-trodden and solid line of his family.
These days the inauguration of Mattia’s Barber Shop in via Verdi 30, the former historic headquarters of Douja Viaggi.
A new and welcoming shop, tailor-made for a young man who rightly wants to leave his mark on what is his “home” for many hours a day.
And where he receives historic customers and new ones to do their hair and beards, careful to combine gestures and wisdom learned in the family of barbers with new products and new trends. A responsibility of which father Gianni is very proud. He has been retired since January, but has ensured his son a constant presence of encouragement in the shop, at least in the start-up phase. Mattia Costa’s Barber Shop is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 8.30am to 1pm and from 2.30pm to 8pm (Friday and Saturday all day). Receives by appointment only.
