Great closing of the Ponchielli concert season on Saturday

From Cimarosa to Mozart, from Vivaldi to Boccherini, the Mantua Chamber Orchestra launches into a musical race through the ΄700, side by side with the soloist Kristóf Baráti, who will tackle the famous Concerto in A Major “Alla turca” for violin and WA Mozart orchestra. The program is completed by Cimarosa’s Symphony from the Olympiad, Vivaldi’s Concerto in A Major and, in conclusion, the Symphony “The Devil’s House” by Luigi Boccherini. An exploration of the best orchestral virtuosity, expressed through the iconic forms of the Italian instrumental school to close the Concert Season of the A. Ponchielli Theater on Saturday 20 April (at 8.30 pm).

A welcome return to the Ponchielli Theater of the Mantua Chamber Orchestra for a close to the season that promises to be unforgettable. Joining the Orchestra will be the Hungarian violinist Kristóf Baráti, who boasts an international career, performing regularly with orchestras such as: the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the London Philharmonic, the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra, the Oslo Philharmonic and many others. For the Cremonese evening, a program will be presented that will range from Cimarosa to Mozart, from Vivaldi to Boccherini, in a musical race through the 18th century. It will also be an opportunity to listen to the magical sound of the “Lady Harmsworth” Stradivarius from 1703, an instrument kindly granted by the “Stradivarius Society” of Chicago to Maestro Baráti.
