Volleyball Barga Under 12 lost with honor at Pantera Lucca

A hot Sunday with summer temperatures awaits the girls of our Under 12 in the Lucca Gym, the “den” of Volley Pantera.

Strengthened by last Sunday’s victory, Volley Barga presented itself with the attitude of those who want to try to win and fight until the end.

The first set part with what will be the leitmotif of the entire meeting: two teams that have appeared overall almost on par.

Although the scores of the three sets may tell a different story and therefore suggest a clear supremacy of Volley Pantera, in reality the key to understanding must be sought elsewhere: as often happens, the balance of the match went in favor of the team that was able to be more precise and made fewer errors.

And so it was. The difference between the two teams today is to be found in the various errors made by our players during the serve, but especially during the reception phase. These are the elements that shifted the balance of the match.

Nothing can be reproached against us in terms of commitment and attitude, certainly commendable. But a few too many errors weighed more than usual. It is from these that our teams must start again to try to improve game after game, to try to increasingly increase team cohesion and mastery of the pitch.

Was one of those days to put away in the drawer of experiences. It is from mistakes that we grow, you mature and improve both on a technical and mental level. The important thing is to never abandon passion and team cohesion. It’s not about winning or losing, it’s about seeing a path in the medium and long term.

There will be time to improve, there will be the one to rejoice, the one to fall and to get back up stronger than before. What matters is moving forward. Always. With conviction that the road is still long, but it is certainly the right one.

And we, together with the coaches, we are and will always be proud of you.
