An initiative for Peace and Wellbeing –

The first weekend of May is a special moment for laughter lovers around the world, as World Laughter Day is celebrated. This day was established way back in 1998 by Madan Kataria, the founder of the international laughter movement Laughter Yoga. Every year, on the first Sunday in May, people from all over the globe come together to laugh and share moments of joy and lightheartedness.

The celebration of World Laughter Day is not only an opportunity to have fun, but also a time to promote world peace and build a sense of brotherhood and friendship through laughter. This movement wants to spread awareness that laughing is good for your health, bringing joy and well-being to all those who participate.

Also to Palma Campania, on the occasion of World Laughter Day, local associations, in collaboration with the Municipality, are organizing a special event to spread the message of joy and inclusion. In particular, the vice mayor Italia Ferraro and the delegated councilor for Sport Nello Gemito are promoting a free Laughter Yoga session to be held at the Parco delle Nuvole, starting at 4.30 pm.

Among the associations involved are “A Magical World” and the association “Peter Pan”. The president of “Un Mondo Magico”, Mariagrazia Cava, underlined the importance of creating an inclusive atmosphere and breaking down economic barriers, so that no one feels excluded. “On this day”, stated Cava, “not only will we support the initiative, but also the municipal administration and the committee of the Feast of Maria Santissima delle Grazie of Palma, which involves many associations from Palma”.

World Laughter Day in Palma Campania promises to be a fun and meaningful event, an opportunity to laugh together and promote a sense of community and solidarity.Celebration of World Laughter Day in Palma Campania: An initiative for Peace and Wellbeing
