An increasingly cleaner city is not only a more beautiful city, but it is “a victory for everyone”. This is the slogan of Municipality of Bergamo, A2A and Apricawho come together in a new environmental awareness campaign to promote the active participation of residents and tourists in the care of the territory.
To recall the importance of everyone’s commitment is an exceptional testimonial, the Olympic ski champion and citizen of Bergamo Sofia Goggia. Sofia and her dog Beautiful in fact, they will appear in the campaign, planned on posters, in the press and on social media, showing how a few simple virtuous behaviors are enough to make a difference.
Bergamo already boasts important numbers in the field of environmental services management: last year it reached 77% of separate waste collection, 33 points more than the last 15 years. To further promote urban decorum and public hygiene, the municipal administration and Aprica have decided to implement various measures, from strengthening street washing operations also with the aid of the “electric city vacuum cleaner”, to increasing the presence of containers for separate waste collection, “intelligent” bins for small waste and dispensers with bags for dog waste.
