Support for cultural, educational, informative, didactic and research initiatives to raise awareness in the regional community of the values of peace, human rights, global citizenship education and international solidarity. At the start a announcement from the Emilia Romagna region for projects promoted by local authorities, universities, the third sector and foundations, to support a culture of peace and rights, in line with the objectives ofUN Agenda 2030 for sustainable development. The Region has made it available 220 thousand euros for the tender, which is open to Local societies (Municipalities, Municipal Unions, Provinces and Metropolitan Cities), Universities and non-profit entities (Non-governmental organisations, of social utility, volunteering, social promotion, social cooperatives and foundations), with registered or operational headquarters in Emilia-Romagna.
“These are issues that have never been as current as they are today – commented the regional councilor for Culture and Landscape, Mauro Felicori -, the multiplication of conflicts and crisis zones, even on the outskirts of Europe, are there to remind us of this every day. This is also why I believe there is a need for the Region to contribute to building paths and initiatives that can grow a culture of peace and rights in our community”.
Initiatives for i will be considered priority young and those for the reduction of territorial gaps between inland and mountain areas of the regional territory. Online contribution applications for initiatives can be sent via the Siber platform up to at 4pm on 18 April 2024.
The projects must be completed within the year and can count on a contribution of up to 70% of the expenses deemed eligible, from a minimum of 5 thousand to a maximum of 20 thousand euros. For further updates you can consult the regional portal at the following link.
