An application successful and “very popular with citizens”: Luciano Uras, one of the founders of the Progressisti, thus responds to journalists after the meeting with Alessandra Todde, on Massimo Zedda’s choice to take the field again for the Municipality of Cagliari.
«If we want to submit this candidacy to primaries, we will do so, they can also be organized very quickly», adds Uras, «if you want to compare it with other applications, we are available, we have no preclusions. If, however, there are no other candidatures, we move towards a single candidacy.”
The Progressives had long supported the idea of primaries, when Renato Soru and Alessandra Todde were competing for the presidency of the Region. Then they decided to return to the Campo Largo.
«We are positive», adds Uras, «because we are convinced that we will win the elections for Cagliari.” Will the President of the Region support Zedda’s candidacy? «President Todde said that Massimo Zedda’s candidacy is certainly a winning candidacy», she replied.
