Crepentance continues in the world of the Italian mafia. After those in the province of Foggia, a prominent justice collaborator in the Camorra appears, it’s about Francesco Schiavone known as “Sandokan”, head of the Casalesi clan, a criminal organization with contacts and business also in Capitanata.
Born seventy years ago in Casal di Principe, Schiavone has been in prison since 11 July 1998, when he was captured in a bunker while in the company of his family. He must serve several life sentences.

The repentant said that it was the bosses Francesco Schiavone Sandokan and Francesco Bidognetti to directly manage waste traffic in Caserta, treating it as a private matter. “At the time I still kept the relevant register which showed that 100 million a month was coming in for garbage, while then I realized that in reality the profit was at least 600/700 million a month. There are some fugitives who still have suitcases full of money, I’ve seen them myself; it’s money made with waste and other activities, secretly.”
Now, to these reconstructions, those of “Sandokan” himself could be added. There is great anticipation to know all the truths of the newly repentant.
