Brindisi: ASL. Ceglie Messapica, improvement of the territorial offer
Descriptive text here

The discussion continues between the ASL Brindisi and the municipal administration of Ceglie Messapica aimed at improving, based on the availability of resources usable for this purpose, the offer of health services to citizens in the local Territorial Assistance Unit.

In recent days there was a new meeting which was attended by the general director of the Brindisi Local Health Authority, Maurizio De Nuccio, the municipal councilor of Ceglie Messapica delegated to Health, Cataldo Rodio, and the new director of the Francavilla Fontana Social and Health District, Gabriele Argentieri.

During the work, solutions to resolve some critical issues were discussed, proceeding step by step. The Local Health Authority has already arranged for the integration of specialist outpatient hours for the Geriatrics branches in the PTA of Ceglie starting from 16 August 2024. In the next few weeks, extraordinary maintenance interventions will be started on the Radiology premises and the surgical lamp in the Day Service operating room. Furthermore, the search for the medical staff necessary to cover all shifts at the 118 medical station will continue.

Following the meeting, which took place in the headquarters of the General Directorate of the ASL, an inspection was carried out on the construction site of the Ceglie Messapica Awakening Center in the presence, among others, of the mayor of Ceglie, Angelo Palmisano, to verify the progress of the works (excavation of the foundations and arrangement of the electrical substation).

The discussion will continue, in a climate of fruitful collaboration, with further meetings to be held on a monthly basis.
