CERIGNOLA (FOGGIA) – Rosa Calvi, the lawyer from Cerignola who, with his complaint, started the investigation into Francesco Bellomo, former State Councilor, founder of a preparation course for the judiciary, declared his satisfaction with the dismissal of the man from the administrative judiciary by the Council of State.
«I am happy with the decision of the Council of State: not for my personal story. But because, given the events also due to his personality, he could not carry out those functions to which he was called”, he explained to Corriere della Sera.
“I am also happy for the message of justice that comes from the sentence”, added the lawyer from Puglia.
According to the Council of State, the scientific director of the preparatory school for the “Law and Science” judicial competition “has carried out acts detrimental to the dignity and fundamental rights of the person”.
And he also “abused his qualification as a magistrate to solicit the public office receiving his interventions for private purposes connected to the relationship between him” and a scholarship holder.
Bellomo became famous for having indicated a dress code to his students: with stiletto heels and miniskirts for aspiring magistrates.
Various criminal proceedings were opened against Bellomo in various Italian prosecutors’ offices, but all criminal charges were dropped.
In Milan the investigation was closed, in Piacenza he was acquitted and in Bergamo he was ordered not to proceed.
Now the outcome of the administrative procedure, which ended with the dismissal of the former Bari official.
