ACCOMMODATION AND BOARD FOR THE HARVEST IN VENETO

Veneto is famous for Prosecco but now even the production of this local excellence presents problems linked to the lack of manpower.
Despite the fact that it is a flagship production in Veneto, fewer and fewer Italians are approaching this job, which is considered low-paid compared to the physical effort involved in a harvest. There are many who want to leave the vineyards for sectors with higher wages. The problem is clearly greater when companies are not highly mechanized and there is therefore a need for personnel who work manually.

It is for this reason that during seasonal work peaks such as harvesting, pruning and grass cutting, we turn directly to cooperatives that provide workers. Labor is often imported from abroad and to facilitate this move we are also thinking of offering food and accommodation for the period of work on farms. In this way, it is hoped that we will be able to find the personnel necessary for the production of wine and therefore ensure the survival of a sector for which Veneto is also famous abroad.
