The last act of the Promotion Pool for Future Volleyball stops at PalaBorsani of Castellanzawhere the Cocche will host the Cbf Balducci Macerata in advance of Friday 29 March with the kick-off of the match exceptionally set for 7.00 pm.
A last one that tastes like before, given that tomorrow it will be up debut on the red and white coach bench Alessandro Beltrami who took over Daris Amadio following the defeat in Cremona. Useful opportunity to regain serenity and confidence, with the aim of winning in the Castellanza fort (until now untouched)even more so against a strong and motivated team competing for fourth place with Talmassons.
Macerata, in fact, is currently at 55 points with just dtwo defeats in the last five and three victories of which the last, against Messina, was preparatory for Futura’s second place. The orange team, after finishing group B at the top of the table, have struggled more than expected in this second phase however, managing, even in the first leg, to play a high-level match that was immediately on the right track (2-0) and then closed with the tie-break victory.
Coach Carancini’s Marche team, who took over after Saja’s dismissal, are more eager than ever to take advantage of the moment of slight decline in busts to break the home record and trip up the vice-leaders. With a three-point victory, in fact, Macerata could secure fourth place, then being able to act as a disinterested spectator at Talmassons’ match against Montecchio. Despite a few too many falls, the CBF can still count on a high level group with athletes of undoubted quality and experience: from the setter Asia Bonelli (fifth season for her between A1 and A2) protagonist last year of the promotion with Trento, passing through Captain Fiesoli (third consecutive season with the number 14 shirt) already at 363 seasonal centers to reach the other “snipers” Bolzonetti with 193 points and the super central Alessia Mazzon, practically the only one in her department among the top spikers with an impressive 344 points under her belt. A group already of great technical and tactical value, also enhanced by the arrival, in this second phase, of the German powerhouse born in 1997 Laura Broekstra and the opposite Danjiela Dzakovicfurther pieces on which we can count taking into account Korhonen’s farewell and Federica Busolini’s injury (complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee during training). The objectives of the Marche team remain high level and, after having failed to reach the Italian Cup, the Macerata team want give 110% to get the most out of the championship by trying to reverse the balance of the regular season making the best of the race towards the last pass available for the A1 series.
The Cocche for their part, with the second armored place, will be able and must take advantage of the opportunity to return to their home Taraflex to play a match without any pressure in which you can test the new coach’s first directives and above all find the serenity necessary to start the playoff journey on the right foot (from the weekend of 6/7 April) in which empty passages are prohibited because they risk being fatal.
The news coming from the Bustocco medical staff remains positive, confirming the possibility for coach Beltrami to be able to count on all the athletes at his disposal.

At the red and white family joins a club that recently celebrated forty years of activityalways carried out with great attention to the youth sector and the growth of athletes since Minivolley.
Precedents and curiosities
Taking a look at the official precedents between the two teams, there are five total clashes played. In the 2019-2021 seasons, on both occasions in the first leg matches of the respective regular seasons, while in the current one in the first leg match of the promotion pool. The balance tips slightly in favor of the Marches who, with the victory in the tie break of the first leg, broke the perfect balance that reigned. The latter was a victory which, however, confirmed the trend in which the home team always triumphed in all matches.

Alessandro Beltrami: “It all happened very quickly, I actually started working with the team yesterday, I’m a bit torn because I have to start getting to know both us and our opponents. I’m trying to balance the study of all situations a bit. I thank the staff very much because they were very helpful and are helping me a lot. Macerata is a very tidy team with excellent attackers, above all Bolzonetti and Mazzon are doing an excellent job and are traveling at a very high pace. They defend a lot and put a lot of pressure on their opponents, plus as they are still in the running for fourth place they will be highly motivated to get a result. I’m curious to see how we will be on the pitch too. I think we have important characteristics of serve, attack and block-defense, we must make them remain our identity as they have been up to now otherwise we would not find ourselves in this position in the rankings. The luck is that we can use this match to get to know each other and get a result to get out of a situation of little serenity, but without any pressure because second place is assured so we can enjoy it and then prepare for the playoffs as best we can”.
Eleonora Furlan: “This week has been very full and from some points of view also complicated because there was a change of technical leadership. We started again with the aim of regaining confidence in our abilities, little by little we are getting to know each other with the new coach, who immediately made a good impression on us. We are working well and you can see that everyone has the desire to give their best and regain our confidence. Tomorrow’s match will be fundamental for this to then be able to play the playoffs in the best possible way with all the cards at our disposal. We know that they are all complicated matches, but our goal is to express our best volleyball. We all really want to start again in a big way“.
