On the evening of Saturday 27 April, operators of the Reggio Emilia Flying Squad, engaged in a usual territorial control service, proceeded to identify a group of young people present inside the park located between via Primo Maggio and via Marchi. Specifically, during this activity, the officers immediately noticed a strong smell of a narcotic substance coming from the area of the park where the boys were present.
One of the subjects, a 17-year-old Italian, had already been administratively sanctioned a few days earlier for possession of a narcotic substance pursuant to art. 75 DPR 309/90, upon specific request, he delivered to the operators a block of hashish-type narcotic substance, for a total weight of approximately 49 grams, which he reported having purchased shortly before.
On the basis of what was ascertained and in consideration of the quantity of narcotics found, the 17-year-old was released into a state of freedom for the hypothesis of the crime of possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing while the drugs were immediately seized.
