For many people today, work is still a problem: few opportunities, poorly paid jobs, great precariousness and uncertainty, little preparation. For others it is just a parenthesis that separates them from free time and holidays. What if work were instead a vocation? It is important to know and network what is good and beautiful in this perspective.
For this reason, the diocesan offices for social and youth ministry, on the occasion of May 1st, the feast of St. Joseph the Worker, organized a public evening entitled:
“Working is a vocation!”, scheduled for Tuesday 30 April, at 7pm in Sala Manzoni, in Rimini (via IV Novembre 37, free entry).
“We won’t listen to some expert– thus explains the style of the evening Don Pierpaolo Conti, director of the Office for Social Pastoral – but positive testimonies, stories of experiences and good practices already in place in the area. We are all called to this vocation of recognizing for everyone, without obstacles, the dignity of work and of every job”.
Five short interventions are planned.
